I offer landscape design and horticultural services. I can create a plan to renovate a tired-looking yard or design a completely new landscape that reflects your tastes and desires. My services range from “one-off” consultations to complete transformations of your outdoor space. I use horticulturally-sound, environmentally-beneficial practices.
This means that your landscape design will:
- Utilize existing plant and hardscape materials when possible
- Conserve water through use of low-water plants suited to our Mediterranean climate
- Start with re-building healthy soil – the foundation for all successful gardens
- Be low maintenance – no need for weekly “mow & blow,” frequent pruning, or the use of chemical fertilizers
- Deter pests and plant diseases through establishing a healthy garden ecosystem
- Provide food and habitat for birds and pollinators

I am a plant fanatic and gardening has been a passion of mine for 20+ years. I completed a two-year program in Environmental Design at Foothill College and also studied landscape design at UC Berkeley Extension. I am a banana slug (UCSC) with a degree in History and have a Master’s Degree in Political Economy from Columbia in NYC.
My business is based in El Granada and I work mainly on the SF Peninsula from San Mateo to Mountain View.
In a prior work incarnation, I was a corporate treasury manager at a well-known tech company but hung up those spurs over a decade ago to become a horticulturalist.
